iPhone Dominating, but Android and Blackberry Gaining

Although the iPhone has a commanding lead in mobile browsing share, Android and BlackBerry are rapidly gaining market share.  This does not mean that iPhone web browsing is shrinking, because the overall market is growing rapidly.

Android has garnered over 6% of mobile web browsing since its release in October.
 

Google Owns the Mobile Search Market

Google's search dominance on mobile devices is even greater than on desktop devices.  Google handled 97.5% of all smart device searches in February.  However, Microsoft has recently partnered with Verizon to make Live Search the default search engine on all Verizon devices in the next few months.
